Navigate Forward Donates $40,000 in 2023; Exceeds Annual Goal for Philanthropy

Firm’s Founders, Clients, and Alumni Help Direct Charitable Giving

Using a portion of our profits back to give back is a core value at Navigate Forward. It’s a tradition launched 15 years ago by our founders, Mary Kloehn and Teresa Daly.

In 2023, we continued that legacy by donating $40,000 to more than 100 non-profit organizations around the country. Our philanthropic efforts exceeded our goal of donating at least 5 percent of our pre-tax earnings to deserving causes.

Celebrating Our 15th Anniversary with $15,000 in Donations

A large portion of our charitable giving occurred in the third quarter of 2023, in conjunction with our Boomerang networking event and Navigate Forward’s 15th anniversary celebration.

We honored our founders and our many valued clients and alumni with $15,000 in “Charity of Choice” donations. Before, during, and after our October event, we invited our community to join us in giving, and to direct our contributions to the causes that matter most to them.

We partnered with these four organizations and offered matching grants to event attendees and supporters who joined us in making secure online donations:

  • Second Harvest Heartland
  • American Cancer Society
  • Animal Humane Society
  • Habitat for Humanity

Our community of clients, alumni, and friends generously donated an additional $4,000 to these non-profit causes.

Honoring Our Minnesota Keystone Program Membership

Additional charitable giving occurred each month of 2023 with our longstanding “Charity of Choice” initiative. Each time an executive lands a new role, secures a board seat, or realizes their next opportunity, we make a donation in their name to the non-profit of their choice.

Members of the Navigate Forward staff attended the Minnesota Keystone Program annual gala in December 2022. This association celebrates and brings together businesses with strong philanthropic efforts.

For 2024, Navigate Forward will once again make a philanthropic pledge in support of our membership in the Minnesota Keystone Program. For nearly 50 years, this group has recognized Minnesota businesses that donate at least two percent of their pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations.

We anticipate another year of growth and opportunities. We encourage those in our network to join us in giving back and helping create stronger communities for us all.
