Mike Meyer is a sought-after executive coach, experienced board director and former C-Suite executive for Fortune 500 companies. At Navigate Forward, he helps tenured leaders plan the right mix of activities to leverage their skills and experience beyond the corner office. His guidance helps executives prepare for board roles, pivot to non-profit work, launch consulting, speaking or teaching endeavors, or simply make the most of their leisure and family time.

His own leadership journey spans a broad range of experiences, including extensive international assignments and leading organizations through significant change. Highlights include a 25-year career at Abbott Labs, working as EVP/Chief Human Resource Officer at Ecolab, and running a fast-growing medical device business.

In 2013, Mike founded his own executive coaching business, Meyer Partners, working one-on-one with top executives to improve their own skills and accelerate corporate growth. His book, Work and Win with an Executive Coach, defines his unique perspective and helps senior leaders maximize the impact of coaching engagements.

Mike currently serves as board chair of the Loft Literary Center, board member at Graywolf Press and is an active member of the Gopher Angels investment group. He is past board chair of the Nature Conservancy and previous board member for Personnel Research Services, Inc., Global Minnesota, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and other non-profit and for-profit organizations.

When not working, you’ll likely find Mike outdoors. He’s an avid downhill skier, cyclist and hiker and active in environmental conservation initiatives. He loves films from Hollywood’s golden era and has published poetry and prose in literary journals.
