A seasoned HR executive, consultant, and entrepreneur, Janice Pinson knows firsthand the value of strategic career planning, and the positive impact the right job can have. It’s one reason she finds her work with senior leaders in transition so rewarding. She appreciates being a catalyst who’s able to connect the dots, guide the job search process, and help others achieve their goals.

Janice brings over 25 years of progressive corporate and HR experience to her role with Navigate Forward, including previous work in outplacement with Career Partners International, where she led operations for the Kansas City practice. She has held pivotal HR executive roles with Fortune 500 companies and private equity-owned organizations, including leading domestic and international teams for PepsiCo, Accenture, and Yellow Roadway.

In 2020, she launched her own consulting practice where she serves as facilitator and coach to CEOs and provides interim HR leadership to a variety of clients. In addition, she recently became a first-time business owner in her hometown, with a fitness facility that will open later this year.

Janice is a graduate of the University of Kansas and holds a master’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Illinois. She regularly shares her time and talents with various education, social services, and mental health causes. She’s active on the boards of Jewish Family Services and at her synagogue. Her volunteer work with the K.C. Scholars non-profit supports low- and moderate-income students and adults as they pursue post-secondary degrees.

In her downtime, she enjoys working out, traveling to new places, and listening to live music in Kansas City’s many intimate venues. You’ll also find her spending time with her two adult children and her golden doodle, Davis.
