As a senior HR executive and longstanding corporate client, Jackie Ottoson often told us that one day, she’d end up working at Navigate Forward! She saw repeatedly the transformative power and positive impact of quality outplacement and career services for executives. Now, she lends her authentic, practical, and action-focused approach to guide senior leaders in career transition.

Jackie’s positive outlook draws on her extensive experience as a senior HR leader, coach, fractional executive, and independent consultant. She is known for leading through complexity and change, and cultivating authentic relationships with business leaders.

Her career spans diverse environments, from healthcare to hospitality, from Fortune 100 companies to non-profit organizations, with experience at all stages of the business lifecycle. Prior to joining Navigate Forward, she held senior leadership roles with Accanto Heath, Apothecary Products, McKesson, Growth Operators, Caremark, Bon Secours, and Famous Dave’s. In 2013, she launched her own business, Ottoson Consulting, providing executive coaching and senior HR consulting.

Jackie holds an executive coaching certification from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is active in several senior human resources organizations. Locally, she volunteers her time with several non-profits, serving as a board member for HIRED and Tubman, and as a community board member for Summit Academy OIC. She is a past board member for Make-A-Wish Minnesota.

When not working, you’re likely to find Jackie enjoying the great outdoors, listening to all types of live music, or catching up with friends and family over coffee. She likes to hike, travel, and relax up north at the lake. She loves time with her two grown children or her pets, Rosie and Gracie. She resides in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
