Charitable Partnerships for Q1 2021

Navigate Forward Teams Up to Help Diversify Corporate Boards

Philanthropy and community service are cornerstones of Navigate Forward. This is one small way we can demonstrate our values, leverage our profits and share our expertise to strengthen our community.

Workshops with Diverse Board Candidates

This quarter our executive consultants shared their time and talents with the Minnesota chapter of the Women Corporate Directors association. Patti O’Leary, Karen Grabow, Richard Dodson and others led workshops on Board Readiness best practices and using LinkedIn to support a board search for the WCD’s select cohort of Women of Color board candidates.

Our training supports the organization’s initiative to increase opportunities for diversity, equity and inclusion on private and public company boards. We are proud to be part of this important work.

Donations to 45 Non-Profits

Each year since our inception in 2008, we set a charitable goal and donate between 3-5 percent of our annual revenue to deserving non-profits. In Q1 2021, Navigate Forward made contributions to 45 organizations, including five $1,000 donations selected by our Connect 2021 event attendees.

Our clients and executive forum speakers designated the rest of our Q1 contributions, enabling us to support a variety of deserving organizations, from the Alzheimer’s Association and Stages Theatre Company to Be the Match and the Boy Scouts of America.

Every time a senior leader lands a new position or speaks at our weekly forums, we make a contribution on their behalf to a non-profit of their choice.
