Navigate Forward Donates $25,000 Toward Our 2024 Philanthropic Goal

As we approach the fourth quarter, we’re well on our way to reaching our annual philanthropy pledge. For 2024, we’ve joined other Minnesota Keystone members in designating a portion of our profits to support non-profits across the country.

Navigate Forward plans to donate at least 5 percent of our pre-tax earnings to deserving causes in 2024.

Our commitment to charitable giving is such an important part of the Navigate Forward culture. We’re pleased to support so many worthy causes.

We’re sharing a few highlights on our progress and how we’re involving our team, our clients and our alumni in supporting our communities.

Celebrating Client Successes with Charity of Choice Donations

We made “Charity of Choice” donations in honor of three attendees at our recent Let’s Talk alumni networking event.

Charity of Choice contributions are a cornerstone of our charitable giving. Our founders Teresa Daly and Mary Kloehn launched this tradition and we’re pleased to continue it.

Whenever a Navigate Forward client lands their next executive role, secures a corporate board seat or launches their next chapter, we honor them with a donation to a non-profit of their choice.

So far this year, we’ve made contributions to more than 50 deserving causes, ranging from Can Do Canines to Habitat for Humanity to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

We also extend Charity of Choice to those who attend our events. At our recent summer networking gathering, we chose three attendees randomly and made $200 contributions to their favorite charities:

We’ll be awarding more Charity of Choice funds—to causes selected by our attendees—at the upcoming 2024 Author’s Breakfast on October 2.

Navigate Forward Team Volunteers Together, Honors Betty Grant

Executive consultants Patty Hamm and Hank Malin participated in our August volunteer activity in support of the Works Museum.

Sharing our time and talents is another way we contribute to our communities. It’s all part of our company philosophy of being “relentlessly helpful.”

We kicked off 2024 with our Twin Cities-based team commemorating Martin Luther King Day through a day of service. We hosted a lunch for patients, caregivers and staff at Hope Lodge in Minneapolis. This American Cancer Society facility provides important services, lodging and community to those seeking treatment at nearby healthcare sites.

This August, our entire staff of consultants and our full leadership team gathered in Minneapolis for a day of meetings and team-building. Our event culminated with a group activity where we assembled play kits for the Works Museum. This organization creates programs and exhibits to engage kids in science, technology, and engineering.

Our choice of the Works Museum was a small way to honor former executive consultant Betty Grant, who passed away earlier this year. She supported this (and many other) important causes. She made a sizable impact on our community and we enjoyed sharing memories of her and hearing new stories from museum staff.

Sponsorships Help Us Engage with Our Communities

Lastly, we’ve stepped up to sponsor some important non-profit events.

This spring, we invited our clients and supporters to join us for galas in support of the Northside Achievement Zone and Habitat for Humanity.

This summer, we sponsored the Hope, Health and Humor event from the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation.

This fall, we’ll be sponsoring the American Cancer Society’s “Champions of Hope” event on November 8, 2024 in Minneapolis. We hope you’ll join us in supporting this important cause.

Each of these events give us the opportunity to engage with like-minded supporters in the community and to spend time with clients and alumni.

“Our commitment to charitable giving is such an important part of the Navigate Forward culture. We’re pleased to support so many worthy causes and to do our small part to strengthen our communities,” said Anne Sample, CEO of Navigate Forward.
