8th Annual Author’s Breakfast

What a great way to start the day.  Navigate Forward hosted their 8th Annual Authors Breakfast at the Metropolitan.  Pam Borton, the winningest coach in the University of Minnesota women’s basketball history was the featured speaker and helped to draw record attendance to this year’s event.  U.S. Trust, Bank of America’s private wealth management arm generously donated copies of Pam’s new book, ON POINT, with 160 lucky attendees receiving signed copies.

Pam spoke for close to an hour showing the audience both her coach and her executive sides. Drawing from her years of experience, she turned real life stories into leadership lessons that resonated with everyone in the room.  And in the words of  NYT Best Selling Author, Harvey Mackay; Pam Borton says that “influential positions are not about power or us as the leaders – it’s the people that matter.”  So very true as we as leaders continuously learn  to recognize, reward and retain today’s multigenerational workforce.  Bravo “ON POINT”.  A new “Must-Read”.
