Kathryn Bohl brings deep boardroom and executive leadership experience to her role as an executive consultant with Navigate Forward. Based in Minneapolis, she has served as a strategic advisor and board director across public, private, and family-owned companies, as well as industry and professional associations.
Kathryn currently serves as Lead Independent Director for Columbus McKinnon (NASDAQ: CMCO) and Director for Generac Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: GNRC). Her board service spans Audit, Compensation, and Nominating & Governance Committees, including a tenure as Chair of Nominating & Governance at CMCO, where she led a transformative board refresh and succession effort.
She brings global expertise from the industrial, energy, and consumer sectors, including advanced technologies such as intelligent motion control, IoT, and automation. Her executive background includes leadership roles at Sleep Number and General Electric, where she held responsibility for supply chain, customer experience, services, R&D, and product management. At Sleep Number, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Services and Fulfillment Officer, overseeing end-to-end operations for a $1B sleep technology business.
A recognized thought leader in board governance, succession strategy, and enterprise risk, Kathryn is a passionate advocate for board effectiveness. She serves as Executive Co-Chair of Women Corporate Directors, Minnesota, and has been honored as a 2019 Outstanding Director by Twin Cities Business and a 2022 NACD Directorship 100 honoree.
Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys traveling the world, reading widely, learning French, and golfing with enthusiasm—if not precision. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and has a grown daughter.
