And with over 30 years of experience across various industries, she is known for guiding organizations through transformation, succession, and growth, while enhancing their cultures and leadership skills.
As Chief Human Resources Officer at Alliant Energy, Diane partnered with the CEO and board of directors to lead a successful CEO transition, onboard new directors, and strengthen succession planning. She also implemented a world-class human capital management system and advanced the company’s ESG and DEI commitments. Earlier in her career, she served as CHRO at Equus Holdings and held senior leadership roles at Schwan’s Company, where she drove large-scale organizational transformations.
Equally passionate about community leadership, Diane recently served as board chair for the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland and has held roles on several nonprofit and corporate subsidiary boards. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and completed advanced HR executive education at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Outside her professional commitments, Diane and her husband, Rob, enjoy traveling to new destinations, playing golf and pickleball, and supporting their favorite sports teams. She is passionate about interior design and creating memorable experiences with her family and friends.
