Diana brings extensive boardroom and executive leadership experience to her role as a Navigate Forward executive consultant. As a former client herself, she offers a firsthand understanding of the transition into board service. She guides executives through the process with insight, practicality, and a deep understanding of what boards are seeking.
Diana currently serves as an independent director for Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: OPTT), where she also chairs the Audit Committee and contributes to the Compensation Committee and the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee. From April 2022 through July 2025, she served as an independent director, chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee for PetMed Express, Inc. (Nasdaq: PETS). Her governance work is informed by two decades of experience as a senior financial executive, including CFO roles across four brands in both public and private sectors.
Respected for her strategic mindset and ability to drive transformation, Diana is a valued boardroom voice on capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, compensation, and advancing shareholder value. She holds the NACD Directorship Certification™ and was recognized as a Director to Watch by Directors & Boards magazine.
Diana earned her MBA with honors from the University of St. Thomas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, with a concentration in Accounting, from Tulane University. She maintains a CPA license (inactive).
Originally from Minnesota, Diana remains a loyal fan of her home-state sports teams and a strong advocate for animal welfare. She previously served six years on the board of the Animal Humane Society and continues to support its mission. Outside of her board work, she enjoys reading, traveling, long walks, and spending time with her grandchildren as well as her beloved 18-year-old Birman cat.
