As a results-driven human resources leader, John Ozburn brings three decades of global experience partnering with executives to solve complex business challenges through practical, people-focused solutions. His career spans corporate HR leadership roles at Amazon, Republic Services, and A.T. Kearney, with deep expertise across the full employee lifecycle including talent acquisition, talent development, talent management and total rewards.
Most recently, John served as Global Head of Leader Development for Emerging Countries at Amazon, where he led a team that built and integrated learning and development strategy across multiple countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Japan, Mexico, Saudia Arabia, Singapore and the UAE. Among the team’s achievements, they built and integrated a leadership development program accredited and funded by the Australian government and a cultural assimilation initiative that helped North American leaders successfully integrate into Middle Eastern operations.
A graduate of Oakland University, and a Navy veteran, John has spent his career finding, developing and managing top talent, from building global HRBP teams and succession pipelines to guiding organizations through acquisitions, change management and executive coaching. His path has taken him around the world, giving him a deep, firsthand understanding of diverse workforces and global HR challenges.
