Over the course of his career, Douglas has held senior technical and business leadership roles at Amoco and BP, where he drove impact across the full upstream lifecycle. He has lived and worked in the U.K., the U.S., and Argentina and brings a global perspective shaped by extensive international experience. Most recently, Douglas established and led a profitable U.S. business for Sword Group, successfully adapting and integrating their data services model for the local market.
Douglas holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from Cranfield University. This combination of technical rigor and strategic leadership enables him to support both individual growth and organizational performance, helping leaders and teams deliver sustained business results.
Outside of Navigate Forward, Douglas maintains a technical consulting and leadership coaching practice, serving both paid and pro bono clients. He is a keen golfer, an amateur woodworker, and enjoys traveling throughout Europe with his wife and spending time with their grandchildren.
