Teresa Daly - Keynote speaker at the 2nd annual Ann Lydecker Women and Leadership Series at University of Wisconsin
October 2009 - Human resources expert/women entrepreneur, Teresa Daly was on the University of Wisconsin River Falls Campus Tuesday, October 6, 2009 speaking on "Women in Leadership: What Are We Missing?" as part of the second annual Ann Lydecker Women and Leadership Lecture Series. Daly, a former U.S. congressional candidate, and co-owner of the firm Navigate Forward, Inc. shared her recent research on why the number of women at the top of corporate leadership has stagnated at 15 percent over the past decade. She also addressed issues of entrenched male-style organizational structure, stages of personal power and the need for women to mentor other women. The event was sponsored by the Lydecker Lecture Series, The Women's Leadership and Philanthropy Initiative of the UWRF Foundation and the Women's Studies program.
