As a member of the Navigate Forward team, and owner of Gillman Consulting, Bob has successfully coached a number of executives during their career transition process. Based on Bob’s extensive background in the search industry, he brings a unique and practical perspective to preparing our clients for successful interview results.
Bob's experience in the search business has spanned more than 25 years with a proven track record of successful searches across industries. During his career, he has completed searches for clients in a variety of sectors including: medical technology, manufacturing, retail, financial services and communications. Prior to his role as president of Gillman Consulting, Inc., he spent 20 years with two Twin Cities-based search firms. Bob began his career in HR management with positions at several international companies.
Bob has been a consultant to the Carlson Graduate Business Career Center, and a member of the Alumni Association of the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies at the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Bob is a volunteer for several nonprofit organizations including providing interview training for Resource-MN and fundraising for ALS-Therapy Development Institute.
Bob received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business & Accounting with distinction and a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations.
